HSMx-C19x Top-Mount IR ChipLEDs in 0603 Footprint

Broadcom's HSMx-C19x top-view surface-mount IR ChipLEDs are available in the industrial-standard 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm footprint. The small form-factor allows a flexible board design, and the IR ChipLEDs can be closely mounted offering maximum miniaturization benefits to the user, especially in applications such as portable devices where space is a constraint.

These IR ChipLEDs have a wide viewing angle, and are available in 850 nm and 940 nm peak wavelengths. These devices are suitable for applications such as remote controls in home appliances, smart utility meters, light curtains in industrial automation, and more. The HSMx-C19x is compatible with industry-standard automatic machine placement and reflow soldering.
