It delivers up to 200 mA of output current with fixed output voltage options of 3.3 V and 5.0 V. Its wide input voltage range of 4.3 V to 55 V makes it suitable for 12 V to 48 V power rails and high-voltage battery packs.

This device is AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualified, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments from -40°C to +150°C. It includes protection features such as short-circuit current foldback, thermal shutdown, and support for cold-cranking conditions with a low undervoltage lockout threshold. The MCP1781 is stable with small ceramic capacitors and offers a low quiescent current for energy-efficient designs.
