QPC4510 K-Band Image Reject Upconverter

The Qorvo QPC4510 is a monolithic K-Band image reject upconverter designed to translate baseband or low IF signals directly into the 17.7 GHz to 26.5 GHz RF range. It integrates an image reject mixer, a x2 LO buffer amplifier, and an output variable gain amplifier into a single surface-mount device, reducing external RF chain complexity and alignment effort.

The device supports IF inputs from DC to 4 GHz with a corresponding LO range of 6.85 GHz to 15.25 GHz. Typical conversion gain is 13 dB, and the architecture delivers high linearity, with a typical output TOI of 32 dBm at maximum gain. Optional LO nulling pins are provided to improve LO-to-RF isolation by up to 30 dB, which is useful in dense RF assemblies and multi-channel systems.

Fabricated using the Qorvo pHEMT process, the QPC4510 operates from 5 V and 3.3 V supplies and is packaged in a 28-lead, 5 mm × 5 mm QFN. The compact footprint and integrated gain control make it well-suited for space-constrained K-band transmit chains that require predictable performance across frequency.
