ROHM UCR10C series sintered shunt resistors deliver compact, high-power current sensing for demanding systems

Image of ROHM UCR10C Series Thick-film Shunt ResistorsROHM UCR10C series sintered metal shunt resistors are designed for high-power current sensing in automotive and industrial applications. The series supports rated power levels of 1.0 W and 1.25 W in a compact 2012 package to address rising system power demands. A copper-based resistive element is sintered onto an alumina substrate to enhance thermal performance, enabling higher power density compared to similarly sized thick-film and metal plate shunt resistors (based on ROHM internal research, September 2025).

In addition, the metal resistive structure offers a low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR), contributing to stable resistance values and accurate current measurement across temperature changes.
