Tripp Lite by Eaton copper-to-fiber media converters provide a durable solution for transmitting Ethernet signals in industrial environments without interference from ESD and RFI. Machinery in warehouses, factories, and other industrial environments can create electrostatic discharge (ESD) and radio frequency interference (RFI) that adversely affect signals traveling over copper cable.
The media converters transform Cat5/6 UTP Ethernet signals into fiber signals that travel over fiber optic cable, which is much less vulnerable to interference and can transmit over long distances. They also withstand the harsh temperature ranges often found in industrial settings and can be mounted on a DIN rail.
