Analog Devices MAX31875 Temperature Sensor | DigiKey Daily

Analog Devices’ MAX31875 is a high accuracy, low-power temperature sensor in a tiny 0.84 mm square WLP package. Typical accuracy is as low as ±0.5°C, and the sensor’s average current draw is less than 10 µA while operating from a 1.6 V to 3.6 V supply. Configuration parameters are set and data is read using I2C or SMBus protocols at up to 1 MHz, with selectable packet error checking to avoid communication errors. The MAX31875 also has an optional timeout to prevent bus lockup. It’s small size, low-power operation, and accurate temperature measurement allow the MAX31875 to be used in battery-powered, handheld, communications, server, and industrial applications.
