Image of Analog Devices' AD594/AD595 Thermocouple Instrumentation AmplifiersADI’s AD594/AD595 are instrumentation amplifiers with thermocouple cold junction compensator. Each device includes a failure alarm that indicates an open on the thermocouple leads. The alarm includes TTL output. The amp has a wide +5 V to +15 V input and a low 160 μA of needed current. The AD594 is laser trimmed to match type J (iron-constantan) thermocouples whereas the AD595 is laser trimmed for type K (chromel-alumel) inputs. These devices come in a hermetically sealed 14-CDIP package that has a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The AD594/AD595 are ideal for industrial applications that require high precision and in a robust package.
