Hybrid Polymer Capacitors - PHS227/PHV227 Series

Hybrid radial crown capacitors from KEMET, a YAGEO company have a polymer system that creates an electrical pathway between the anodic oxide layer and the cathode through a mechanical separator paper. The winding is impregnated with a liquid electrolyte that adds to the self-healing features of the capacitor and is housed in a cylindrical aluminum can with a high-purity aluminum lid and high-quality rubber gasket. They have a polarized all-welded design, tinned copper wire leads, and a negative pole connected to the case. Low ESR is conditioned by a highly conductive polymer (PEDOT/PSS) and an all-welded design.

The surface mount form factor is available in horizontal and vertical mounting options. The capacitors are reflow capable. High vibration resistance can be achieved without clamping due to the surface mount termination.
